Let Him Out - Rework in Progress!


Happy nearly Thanksgiving to some of you, and happy late autumn to more of you!

I'm excited to shared that I'm in the process of updating Let Him Out to have, well... functionality. 'Tis the tough part about game jams (in-class) and time limits: Technical difficulties can eat up much of your time. 

I'm currently in the process of building out the environment and assets. Without the previous jam's requirement of all self-made assets, I've been able to improve the room by a long shot, thanks to Kenney, MilkAndBanana, and Atomic Realm's asset packs. Let Him Out's credits will be updated upon the new version's release! This has also given me more time to work on the 2D and UI assets the game needs.

The current plan is to be done with assets and ready to implement early next week, and to begin work on the puzzles post-Thanksgiving. The full game should be updated around mid-December. 

(And then, once this hectic semester ends, I can finally get back to Quartet. Oh how I've missed it dearly.)
